About Dan
Dan Goldstein was raised in a Jewish family in the United States. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music and an MBA, and completed the first year of rabbinical studies at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles. He now lives in Nairobi, dedicated to spreading the reading of Hebrew across East Africa — teaching every class personally.
Personal attention, every class
Dan teaches every session himself – no pre-recorded videos. We begin each class with beginner instruction, directed by Dan and supported by advanced readers. Class then continues for new learners in one-to-one breakout sessions with our enthusiastic advanced readers. These breakout sessions may be held fully in Kiswahili or English. We all join for the last part of the class, which is recitation and translation of verses from the early prophets and writings.
